Meet Your Principals

Mrs. Amanda Murray, Principal

 

Mrs. Amanda Murray is the proud Principal of Stow-Munroe Falls High School, having served in this role for the past few years following over a decade as an Assistant Principal at SMFHS. She is deeply committed to the belief that all students can achieve, and she strives to create a school environment where every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn at high levels.

Mrs. Murray is passionate about providing a high school education that is rigorous, engaging, and inspiring—one that students are proud to reflect on as Bulldogs. She believes that every day is a great day to be a Bulldog and works tirelessly to foster a school culture where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Mrs. Murray began her educational career as a student teacher in Stow Munroe Falls and was hired as a math teacher the following semester. Much of her teaching experience was in inclusion settings, where she developed a strong foundation for supporting students of all levels. She earned both her undergraduate degree in education and her master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Akron.

Mrs. Murray is committed to championing both students and staff, with a focus on curriculum and instruction, assessment, and building a strong, positive school culture.

Mr. Tim Renner, Assistant Principal

 
Mr. Renner graduated from Kent State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Integrated Social Studies. He then returned to Kent State and earned a Master’s Degree as an Intervention Specialist. Mr. Renner is starting his 9th year at Stow Munroe Falls High School. Mr. Renner worked at Norton City Schools and Northwestern Local Schools as an Intervention Specialist prior to his tenure at Stow. Mr Renner’s family is also involved with Stow Munroe Falls City Schools. His wife, Leah, is an Art teacher at Lakeview Intermediate and he has two boys enrolled in the Stow-Munroe Falls City School system
 

Mr. Jaysen Yeagley, Assistant Principal

 
Mr. Yeagley graduated from Kent State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Integrated Language Arts (grades 7-12). He earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership (grades 7-12) at Ashland University in 2009. Mr. Yeagley spent 10 years as a High School English Teacher at Palm Bay High School in Florida and Columbiana High School in Columbiana, Ohio. Now in his 13th year of administration, Mr. Yeagley has served as assistant and head principal at both the middle school and high school levels. Yeagley also spent four years at Mahoning County Educational Service Center as an Teaching and Learning department administrator. Mr. Yeagley and his wife have three children.
 
With a growth mindset, Mr. Yeagley focuses on supporting all students at Stow-Munroe Falls. 
 

Mrs. Megan Hansen, Assistant Principal

 
Mrs. Hansen is in her first year as an assistant principal. She is excited to continue working with the Bulldog community. She was an intervention specialist and worked in the athletic department at SMFHS since 2016. Her bachelors of education degree is from John Carroll University in AYA Integrated social studies. She then earned a Masters of education from Notre Dame College as an intervention specialist. She completed her educational leadership program from Fort Hays State University. 
 
She is passionate about supporting others and believes building relationships is the heart of a strong culture. She is solution oriented and will strive to find a way for each student to find success. 
 
She enjoys sports, staying active, being outside and spending time with her husband, daughter and son.
